Job Description: Jefit is looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our fast-growing team! You will have a unique opportunity to build core features and infrastructure critical to our product’s growth during an exciting phase of expansion. As an early hire, you will make impactful decisions on the product and potentially engage in various facets of the business based on your interests.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with object-oriented programming, with at least 1 year of Android development.
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Kotlin.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Understanding of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and platforms, such as GitHub.
- Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
