Designer

Bronx and Banco is looking for a Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Founder, Natalie De'Banco. We are looking for someone with Bridal and Dresses experience. Jewelry or swimwear experience is a plus! If you have 3+ years experience in Women's design, please apply to be apart of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Design and Production teams to ensure effective communication with all factories and sales team.
• Prioritize daily and seasonal workload based on fabric/garment delivery, meeting weekly and seasonal deadlines.
• Attend initial Design handoffs for new products, complete proto specs, and update product details. Interface with overseas factories to convey fit and construction corrections.
• Spec & prep garments prior to fitting, and take on additional projects as needed.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Technical Design Experience in a SKU intensive environment.
• Experience in technical design and pattern making.
• Experience in Women's RTW ; Bridal & Dresses, or Jewelry highly recommended
• Strong knowledge of draping, pattern making, grading, garment construction, sewing, technical drawing, measuring, and fitting.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office & G-Suite.
• Strong sense of urgency, expert time management skills, and excellent communication skills.
