We are looking for a mid-level Solution Engineer to join our team responsible for the designing, testing, and validating of Juniper AI-Driven SD-WAN solution. This is a challenging position within Juniper's AI-Driven Enterprise business unit to bring out the next generation of SD-WAN solutions. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of SD-WAN, network security, and cloud-native applications for large enterprises and service providers.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience with BS or MS degree, extremely motivated, passionate about learning and contributing to the team and the business with a "can do" attitude.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python.
- Strong OS fundamentals and SaaS service offerings on Public clouds like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- 2+ years of experience with SaaS-based solutions with REST-based test automation experience using Python.
- Experience with TCP/IP and knowledge of common standard IP protocols such as ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, etc.
- Experience in testing & automation for Routing Protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Experience in testing & automation for areas such as IPsec VPN, NAT, FW, QoS, and AppQoE.
- Understanding of BigData ecosystem and technology stack like Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, Etcd, Salt.
- Good knowledge in Database Internals, containers and orchestration technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes is a definite plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent skills in customer solution cases and validating customer topologies employing test frameworks, commercial test sets, in-house tools, and automated testing.
Responsibilities:
- The Solution Engineer will be a subject matter expert for implementing Juniper Networks products and solutions with a strong emphasis on the Juniper routing and Security Portfolios.
- Activities will involve validating new features in results-oriented product development, writing design specifications, test plan development, replicating customer solution deployment topologies, and conducting validation by automating customer use cases.
- Design, deploy and validate SDWAN features for cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with the team to design and automate network infrastructure.
- Contribute to solution efforts for AI-Driven wired, wireless, and SD-WAN networks.
Minimum Salary: $120,000.00
Maximum Salary: $172,500.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $120,000.00 and $172,500.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
