Hook is a Creative Production Agency. With a collaborative, maker-centric team, and an emphasis on production-led design, we develop creative campaigns, short-form content, and websites for well-known brands.
Our mission is to integrate creative and production to help grow brands faster. But we believe what’s most important are the people who work with us and the experience they have along the way. We want clients to think of us as the best agency they’ve ever worked with, and we want everyone at Hook to feel like this is the best job they’ve had yet.
And so, Hook is organized around the idea that small, diverse and autonomous teams create better work—and a better work experience. At around 20 people each, our pod-like teams are built with a mix of designers, writers, producers, animators, and technologists. Individuals at all levels and from all backgrounds are empowered to connect with the client and make the creative challenge their own.
WHAT’S A SENIOR MOTION DESIGNER AT HOOK?
Senior Motion Designers are passionate animators who bring visuals and narratives to life through their expert knowledge of animation principles, their proficiency with motion design and video editing tools, and their ability to lead complex projects. They utilize their understanding of the craft and inquisitive nature to elevate the motion work done at Hook, while always learning and growing their skills.
Senior Motion Designers work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, consisting of visual designers, producers, and creatives. They use their motion expertise to help the team solve creative and technical challenges. On small projects, they may be the sole motion designer, while on larger projects, they might provide guidance and oversight to additional animators.
Within the Motion Department, Senior Motion Designers are looked to as role models and standard-bearers for work quality and professionalism. They actively participate in training and mentoring more junior designers and seek to build and uphold our growth-oriented culture.
As this team and client are based on the West Coast, this person must be able to be available to work PST hours.
