Position Description
As a Lead Java Developer, the candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications.
He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and exceed user expectations.
This position is located in our Pittsburgh and Cleveland, Ohio office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (6+ years) in full-stack Java development, including front-end and back-end development.
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks/libraries such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
- Experience with modern front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks/libraries (Angular, React, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Prior (hands-on) experience Architecting J2EE & Core Java-based applications.
- Expert in Design and development of REST services including authorization and metering.
- Prior experience in JavaScript Frameworks (Angular JS is required).
- Expert in designing/developing J2EE based web-applications (JSP, Servlets, JSF, XSLT, XML).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $165,300.
