Sr System Engineer

TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required for this position.

Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and architectural design expertise to support O&M, enhancement, and digital transformation activities, including decommissioning applications, systems, and/or service components.

Responsibilities:

1. System engineering and architectural design.
2. Define and maintain system standards and architectural principles to develop, implement, and maintain applications, systems, and/or service components.
3. Create and maintain system documentation such as wikis, system Concept of Operations documentation, system/application design documents, and interface control documents.
4. Create and maintain system/application design diagrams that illustrate dependencies and data flows.
5. Conduct engineering reviews, design reviews, technical exchange meetings, and working group meetings that could affect the operation and configuration of the BSE.
6. Plan, design, and analyze the integration of new components into existing applications and systems.
7. Provide and document the total system requirements of hardware and software components.
8. Identify and ensure that all subsystems work together as a single system.
9. Research and consider COTS and internally developed solutions to solve integration problems and/or meet system requirements.
10. Manage change processes and enforce SLAs.
11. Identify, develop, coordinate, deliver, maintain, and update required interface specifications, including the definition of services, data flows, and dependencies for internal and external service providers.
12. Engineer, develop, integrate, deploy, and maintain internal software code, as necessary, to successfully integrate COTS products and associated updates.
13. Comply with Section 508 Compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

1. TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
2. BS degree and 7-15 years of relevant experience.
3. Experience supporting technical programs in a systems engineering capacity executing full lifecycle engineering tasks, requirements analysis and systems design, and cost/benefit analysis.
