Application Engineering Intern

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Application Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in building automation and contribute to the success of construction projects. This role will be in our Charlotte, NC area.

What will you do?

1. Conduct checks on VAV (Variable Air Volume) boxes and wiring panels for digital building control platform.
2. Perform checkouts of controller boxes, air handle controller, dampers, temperature readings, and fans to ensure they are operational and follow the sequence of operations.
3. Conduct functional testing of building automation systems.
4. Working at jobsites and performing field tests.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

1. Educational background or skills in engineering, electrical/mechanical, and HVAC services a plus.
2. HVAC trade experience is highly desirable.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong conflict management and attentive communication skills.
