We are looking for an entry level test engineer to plan and test cryogenic pumps for our Lunar Lander for NASA’s Artemis mission.

Responsibilities:

This position applies standard engineering knowledge and methods to design, plan, model, execute, and interpret tests for cryogenic turbopumps. Responsible for the execution and analysis of component, subsystem, and integrated vehicle testing to verify requirements and validate operational capabilities. Development, release, and support of engineering artifacts across the development cycle to support verification, testing, and operations. Ensures accurate record of measurement data. Provides safe, repeatable, and quality test capabilities that help explore the operational envelope and verify requirements for the current and next generation of aerospace systems. Ensures testing procedures meet industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or related technical subject area
  • Able to graduate and start working full-time on or before August 2025.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for Blue’s Mission with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

  • M.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or related technical subject area
  • Experience testing cryogenic components
  • Understanding of turbomachinery operation and test

Compensation Range: WA applicants is $75,510.00-$105,714.00. Other site ranges may differ.
