Job Description:

Client is seeking an Azure and Snowflake Data Engineer . In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions, and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:

1. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA or be willing to relocate to the area.
2. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
3. At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
4. At least 3 years of Azure and Snowflake experience.
5. At least 2 years of Python experience.
6. Experience in end-to-end implementation using technologies such as Azure and Snowflake.
7. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL and Unix shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in Banking/Financial domain.
2. Strong knowledge of Data structures, Data Engineering concepts, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading, memory management, and concurrency.
3. Experience in large scale cloud data migrations using Snowflake, Python, Spark, SQL.
4. Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices.
5. Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
6. Strong communication and analytical skills.
7. Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising Business and Technology teams.
