As a Software Engineer focusing on workflow development for the Data Capture team, you will develop and improve software to support inspections in our inspection verticals such as telecom and solar. The UX you will develop will be Android-based and will drive Zeitview’s ability to grow into new inspection verticals and scale our inspections in current verticals.

Responsibilities:
- Implement user interfaces to aid global renewable asset and infrastructure inspections.
- Improve and maintain an enterprise drone asset inspection codebase.
- Contribute to user story breakdown and estimation of work during backlog grooming.
- Design and implement major additions to and refactor multiple codebases.
- Contribute to architecture for codebases shared across multiple Android projects.
- Report development progress and any blockers to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with building Android mobile applications in a professional setting.
- 2+ years experience working with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.
- 2+ years experience with DJI’s mobile, onboard, and/or payload SDKs.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Android Studio, Visual Studio Code, Maven, and Gradle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with computer vision programming.
- Experience with robotics programming.
- Experience with CI systems.
- Experience with PX4 flight control SDKs.
