Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the workflow and scheduling of estimating activities to meet both immediate and long-term company objectives
• Work closely with operational teams and clients to outline project scopes and review bid documents
• Request bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation is distributed
• Develop estimates for initial designs, ensuring accurate pricing through comprehensive research
• Negotiate pricing, resolve any discrepancies, and foster strong relationships with clients
• Compile and present completed estimating packages to management for approval
• Track bid projects and provide accurate forecasts for future project awards and their likelihood
• Work with operations to hand over awarded projects and manage procurement processes when needed

Qualifications

• Preferred 5+ years experience in electrical estimating on Multi-Family and Commercial projects (hotels, restaurants, warehouses, storage facilities)
• Experience working on electrical budgets in the $1 - $5 Million range
• Proficient in estimating software Accubid
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities
• Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service
