As Software Engineer, your responsibilities will be to:
- Analyze, develop, test, maintain, fix, write supporting document of customer solutions and Speos Administrative solutions.
- Review and improve existing code.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the Client Application Development.
- Provide 2nd level support in case of incident / issues with an application, identify root-causes & resolution, deliver bug fix when needed.
- Participate in the creation and validation of functional documentation of a project.
- Take the lead in the creation and validation of technical documentation of a project.
- Build solutions according to agreed specifications, within speos standards & guidelines.
- Test & deploy solutions based on pre-defined acceptance criteria and procedures.
Profile
As Software Engineer , you have:
- A bachelor degree in IT or equivalent by experience
- At least 5 years of experience in development
- Very good command in French and English. Dutch knowledge is a plus
- Experience with the following technologies / tools:
- Genkins and Github
- Git & GitLab: Intermediate – Version control and CI/CD
- APIs & Testing: Postman – API development and testing
- Databases: DB2, MariaDB, MongoDB – Querying
- Project Management: Jira, Confluence – Task management and documentation
- Remote Computing: MobaXterm, SSH, SFTP
- Preferred:
- Quadient Inspire Designer & Inspire Content Manager: Experience is a plus
- Visual Basic: Basic – Maintaining legacy services
