Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women's health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of Fifteen commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities
Role Summary
The Project Engineer will report to the Engineering, EHS & Facilities Department. The Project Engineer at Lupin Coral Springs is expected to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.

The Project Engineer at Lupin Coral Springs is expected to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems, including HVAC, clean rooms, and utilities, using advanced engineering principles and tools.
- Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives, and plan resource requirements for projects across the department.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management strategies. Ensure projects are completed within approved scope, budget, schedule, and alignment with the master plan. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate project progress, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, Operations, Quality, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project integration/execution.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed engineering solutions.
- Serve as the technical lead for mechanical engineering inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to stakeholders.
- Lead / Co-lead or assist with Commissioning and Qualification Projects as they pertain to the facilities, utilities or equipment.
- Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Associated Bachelor Degree with relevant experience in this field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and executing projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, consultants, and vendors
- Strong project and process management skills; knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
- Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and safety standards in real estate and construction.
