Responsibilities
Peraton will provide CBP with a range of technical, financial, and program management support in order to achieve a mature set of enterprise cloud services. The Cloud Cost Analyst/ Engineer- SME will have the following responsibilities:
- Create awareness and impact change in cloud infrastructure costs.
- Implement dashboards and automated reporting for cost and cost compliance.
- Analyze cloud usage, optimize costs by looking across the entire cloud ecosystem in relation to the intended usage, business objectives, and SLAs.
- Use cloud FinOps to determine and report on current cloud costs as well as to forecast future costs across a hybrid multi-cloud platform.
**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Four years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
- U.S. Citizenship and must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or on a team and provide effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One or more Cloud Certification(s) preferred (i.e. Microsoft, Google, AWS, etc).
- Current or prior experience with FinOps.
- FinOps Practitioner/Professional Certification.
- FinOps Engineer Certification.
- Current CBP Full BI preferred.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
