Senior Engineer - Kent

Due to continued success, we are now recruiting for a Senior Engineer to work in our Southern Region around the Kent area.

Key Responsibilities

1. Undertake day to day setting out duties with no supervision.
2. Train, manage and mentor Junior Engineers.
3. Manage and monitor all site sample/performance testing requirements and maintain records in line with the contract specification.
4. Complete hazard/risk assessments and method statements.
5. Manage the site service plans/drawings. Issue permits accordingly.
6. Assist the site QS/Project Manager with providing the relevant information for records and claims purposes.
7. Monitor and control temporary works.
8. Develop and maintain relations with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
9. Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.

Skills Required

1. Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential and the successful candidate will be happy to travel throughout our Southern Region.
2. A First Aid at Work qualification would also be desirable.
