Linux Systems Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer

A consulting company for a Top 5 tech company is looking for Linux Site Reliability Engineers. You'll work in a high-computing environment, handling all things Linux. You'll manage and maintain Linux servers (over 20K systems and counting) while also implementing automation and Kubernetes administration. Ideal candidates have a deep understanding of core infrastructure services such as DNS, LDAP, NIS, NTP, DHCP, and are self-motivated, requiring minimal hand holding.

This role is on-site hybrid or fully remote in Mountain View.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer
2. Expertise with core infrastructure services such as DNS, LDAP, NIS, NTP, DHCP, etc.
3. Experience in automation
4. Scripting experience with Bash or Python
5. Strong communication skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
