We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and networking, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support our on-prem and cloud infrastructure.

Some of the things you will be doing:

1. Work as part of an agile DevOps team responsible for pre-production and production environments.
2. Maintain Azure Services platform.
3. Deploy Azure infrastructure and applications.
4. Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve Azure and on-prem issues.
6. Establish monitoring and customize the alerts.
7. Create and maintain documentation for Azure and on-prem configurations, processes, and procedures.
8. Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers and interact with project managers.
9. Follow policies and procedures for time tracking, security, change control, problem and incident management.

What technical skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

1. Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues is crucial. You should be able to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
2. Experience with agile development process, including incremental deliveries, CI/CD, automated testing, approval workflows and gates.
3. 5+ years of experience with Azure - PaaS, networking, FrontDoor, databases and storage, hybrid infrastructure with on-prem and cloud, migration of applications to cloud.
4. Azure Container application hosting and management.
5. Strong experience with IaC frameworks, such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform.
6. Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI and YAML.
7. Strong experience with DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
8. Focus on process improvement, automation and documentation.
9. Teamwork and mentoring.
