Overview:
C4ISR Systems Integration and Engineering applies highly diversified skills to produce Non-Propulsion Electronic Systems (NPES) for US Navy nuclear submarines.
As a Comm/Nav/Surveillance Test Engineer, opportunities range from support to initial system design through development, hardware/software integration, test, delivery, and integration of these systems aboard nuclear submarines. For delivered submarines, engineering efforts extend to the analysis and resolution of fleet identified problems, assessment of obsolescence issues, and implementation of NPES modernization programs. Specific area of interest is for supporting the ECS System for both VIRGINIA and COLUMBIA Class platforms.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 4-9 years of experience with Radio or Radio Systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience testing and troubleshooting Radio equipment and RF cabling
- Ability to read and understand schematics to be able to trace signal paths
Preferred:
- Experience with Submarine Radio equipment and operations
- Knowledge of handling of Crypto is a plus
- Understanding of shipyard operations is also a plus

- Candidate must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, be highly motivated as well as have the ability to interact with other organizations in an engineering environment.
