Position: Desktop Engineer
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Engineer to join their team! This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys providing exceptional technical support and thrives in a dynamic IT environment. As part of a collaborative team, the Desktop Engineer will be instrumental in supporting hardware and software installations, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to seamless software migrations. This position is perfect for someone looking to expand their expertise and work closely with end users to improve their technology experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Install and configure desktop and laptop systems, managing refresh cycles for optimal performance.
  • Support software application deployments and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
  • Provide top-notch customer service by assisting users with their technical needs and fostering strong relationships.
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and maintain accurate equipment inventory records.
  • Offer training and guidance to users on new software and hardware functionalities.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in desktop support or technical support roles, ideally within an enterprise setting.
  • Proficiency with both Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common desktop applications.
  • Experience with Active Directory, VPNs, and remote desktop tools is advantageous.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
