Overview:

The Senior Collibra Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing data governance processes within the organization. They are responsible for designing and implementing Collibra solutions to ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of data across the enterprise. This role is essential in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating informed decision-making through effective data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data governance needs and requirements
  • Design, configure, and implement Collibra solutions to address data governance challenges
  • Develop and maintain data models, asset types, and workflows within Collibra
  • Integrate Collibra with other data management tools and systems
  • Create and maintain data governance policies and standards
  • Provide expertise in data lineage, data quality, and metadata management
  • Support data stewards and data custodians in their governance roles
  • Optimize and troubleshoot Collibra configurations and workflows
  • Participate in the development of data governance best practices and frameworks
  • Train and mentor junior Collibra engineers and data governance stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Collibra solutions
  • Proficiency in data governance principles and best practices
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage
  • Expertise in SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collibra Ranger and/or Collibra Administrator certification is a plus

Workplace Type: In-Office

Hourly Compensation: USD 45 - 55
