Job Description
Salesforce Data Designer Technical Lead
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 6 Months
Job Overview:
The project is for Salesforce enhancement implementations for a nonprofit.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and configure software systems to meet market and/or client requirements.
- Interact with client/business team to translate business needs/requirements into technical requirements/design.
- Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client, project, or entity.
- Manage and provide direction for the App Maintenance team in support of development activities.
- Train new resources in Salesforce Apex development and VisualForce.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced in client-facing interactions and managing business requirements/meetings.
- Experienced and conversant in key business functional areas such as ERP and CRM.
- 8+ years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
- Minimum four (4) years of Salesforce experience.
- Demonstrated thought leader in Salesforce solutions and technologies.
- Experienced with integrations between Salesforce and multiple other platforms and technologies.
- Strong SaaS solutions development and implementation focused on Salesforce.com.
- In-depth understanding of Salesforce programming including APEX, Force.com, and VisualForce.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Salesforce.com Administrator certification.
- Salesforce.com Developer certification.
- Primary Skills Needed: Salesforce administration and development, Salesforce solution design, Salesforce data loading (export, insert, upsert, delete), Salesforce data model, Salesforce integration.
