About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use): 10
We are seeking a dedicated full stack senior software engineer with at least 5 years of development and extensive React experience to join us. You will work as part of a team to design and develop high-quality software solutions for web applications and mobile apps using React.

As a full stack senior software engineer, you will implement new features and maintain existing code using React on the front end with a C# back end. Your duties will include designing software solutions to meet project requirements, maintaining and refactoring existing code, and writing tests.

A Successful Senior Software Engineer Will:
  1. Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs.
  2. Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements.
  3. Work within a cloud-native architecture, specifically Google Cloud Platform.
  4. Partner with other developers and software engineers to develop front-end and back-end architecture that’s well structured and flexible, along with the APIs to support it.

Who you are:
  1. 5+ years of software development or software engineer experience with extensive background in React.
  2. Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS.
  3. Experience in architecting and developing front end applications.
  4. Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm.
  5. Experience with React Queries, Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript.
  6. Knowledge of C#, .NET, cloud architecture (Google Cloud preferred) is required.
  7. An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $77,400 to $160,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Where you will be:
This position is based in our New York headquarters. We work a hybrid work schedule with a current minimum of two teamwide designated days in the office.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required.
