Qualifications
CNC Mill and Lathe Operators efficiently operate Haas CNC Mills and Lathes, with some supervision, to meet daily production demands. Future growth may include setting up and programming these machines and/or operating our CNC laser cutter and etching machines. You should be comfortable in a sometimes fast-paced prototype environment as well as long series production. We are a close-knit team of engineers and machinists, and we are looking for a team member who is an eager learner. We value a great communicator with a positive attitude to work and life.
Responsibilities:
CNC Mill and Lathe Operators perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Machine various components using CNC machines, following ERP work instructions (we use ProShop).
- Identify and respond to machine malfunctions and maintenance needs.
- Operate machines safely and efficiently.
- Lift workpieces using a pallet jack or manual strength.
- Measure parts with precision tools and equipment to ensure they meet dimensional requirements.
- Maintain, clean, and repair machines as needed.
- ssist coworkers in completing daily tasks and meeting deadlines, when not operating CNC machines.
- Follow documented procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate timely updates to supervisors and coworkers to ensure the highest quality and on-time delivery.
- Work closely with coworkers and supervisors to maintain and follow safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer Savvy
- t least one year of CNC machining experience
- bility to operate CNC machines efficiently and accurately with moderate supervision
- Machinists must have a proven ability to machine a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites, using different machine tools and techniques
- Willingness to take direction but also work independently
- Desire to learn other skills throughout the organization
- Some prior experience machining in a production environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of manual machining (not CNC) (preferred)
- bility to read and interpret documents such as product prints, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety and quality manuals
- bility to speak clearly and effectively to coworkers and supervisors
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- bility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Working knowledge of the following systems a plus: ERP system (we use ProShop), editing G and M Codes, GD&T Experience, working in an ISO9000/AS9100 certified shop
