Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build Trust Tools Software products. Trust tooling & automation safeguard our client platform and users from various risks through a blend of robust automatic defenses and efficient human review. This means developing a tooling platform that provides detailed and comprehensive review and decision-making capabilities for humans to complement automated defenses, supporting our dynamic business and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaged in a multi-year initiative to transform agent tooling using machine learning.
  • Improving and extending fraud investigation tools used by our operations team.
  • Creating products to deter unwanted activities on our platform.
  • Developing investigative tooling to surface risks and identify problematic users.
  • Upholding high system quality, focusing on factors like latency, reliability, and availability.

Required Skills

  • 5-9+ years of proven experience in Full Stack development with Java or Scala.
  • A passion for delivering end-to-end products, from conceptualization through planning and prioritization to implementation.
  • Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
  • Experience or curiosity about collaborative work across teams.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable coding in TypeScript; ideally, comfortable reading Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
  • Experience interacting with REST or GraphQL backends.
  • Proven design and UX sensibilities.
  • Experience mentoring team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bonus: Experience in the Trust and Risk domain is a plus.
