What We're Looking For
  • Bachelors' Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in Engineering position preferred
What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • Develop and implement solutions to address manufacturing challenges, ensuring improved quality and productivity
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production equipment by reviewing technical drawings and conducting mechanical evaluations
  • Provide training to Operators, Setup Persons, and Technicians, enhancing technical skills and knowledge
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization using verbal, written, and graphical tools to ensure efficient production methods
  • Design and document tooling requirements using AD software or manual charted drawings, ensuring clear communication with toolmakers
  • Plan and optimize workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborates with design and planning teams to ensure that product designs and tooling support efficient production processes
  • Work closely with vendors to define product specifications, arrange equipment purchases, and evaluate products based on quality standards.
  • Estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs to support management decision-making.
  • Liaise with management, engineering, and other departments to coordinate production schedules and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Apply statistical methods, including machine capability studies, to forecast future manufacturing requirements
  • Lead and track Capital and Non-Capital cost reduction projects, reporting progress regularly to management
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5-S, Kaizen Team efforts, and adherence to TS16949 and ISO14000 standards
