Exciting Opportunity for a Project Engineer in General Contracting and Construction Management!

Are you an experienced Project Engineer seeking a dynamic role in General Contracting and Construction Management? We're expanding our team and looking for a skilled individual to join us in overseeing projects from conception to completion. About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and distributing contract documents, managing RFIs (Requests for Information), RFPs (Requests for Proposals), and other essential project documentation. You'll review and control shop drawings and submittals, ensuring compliance with contract specifications. Additionally, you'll lead project quality control processes, coordinate RFIs among stakeholders, and assist in assembling proposals and change order requests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and distribute contract documents, addenda, field orders, RFIs, and RFPs.
  2. Review and control shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract specifications.
  3. Lead project quality control processes, managing deviation reports, inspections, and testing protocols.
  4. Coordinate RFIs among architectural engineers, project owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
  5. Assist in assembling proposals and preparing owner change order requests, including pricing for self-performed work.
  6. Maintain "As-Built" drawings and prepare final close-out documentation.
  7. Secure operations manuals, guarantees, and warranties; assist in the project close-out process.

Qualifications

  1. 1-3 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction (highly preferred).
  2. BS degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Thorough understanding of construction industry practices, standards, and safety protocols.
  4. Proficiency in database management (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and industry-specific software (e.g., Bluebeam).
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
