Responsibilities

• Align with all safety protocols and complete the required safety items.

• Document procedures, transfer developed processes, and communicate results with senior management team and manufacturing partners.

• Work jointly with equipment vendors to improve equipment design, test new equipment, and drive process improvements.

• Optimize cell yield improvement, failure analysis, and device performance through advanced process techniques.

• Improve cycle time, address capacity-related issues, and decrease costs.

• Document and communicate plans, status, and results of R&D projects in written reports and presentations, including the analysis and interpretation of data.

• Collaborate across multiple groups, including process integration, process areas, design team, manufacturing, and equipment development teams.

• Review all types of literature to identify potential intellectual property opportunities and file disclosures.

Understanding or Experience with:

• Principles and application of immersion lithography, polarized illumination, and low k1 imaging.

• Chemical processes specific to lithography, including materials for 365, 248, and 193nm lithography.

• Lithography simulation software and its application to low k1 imaging.

• Material properties and characterization techniques of lithography.

• Research and development skills to build production-worthy technologies.

• Balancing multiple tasks simultaneously and reacting to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

• Developing and maintaining relations with multi-functional teams and vendors.

• Architectural structure of Micron’s memory products, semiconductor process flows, and steps.

• Project management tools and techniques.

• Strong interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation).

• Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Education and Experience

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another relevant technical degree.

• 5+ years of proven experience in a Photo Overlay role.
