Jacob’s hybrid work model allows for you to maximize your work-life balance while enabling you to benefit from the in-person collaboration that comes from working as part of a team on complex solutions for some of our nation’s most critical aviation infrastructure.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the design of aviation fueling systems for civilian and military clients using the appropriate codes and regulations in the preparation of detailed plans, specifications, and reportsWork within interdisciplinary teams to successfully deliver aviation projects worldwidePrepare proposals, levels of effort to complete design and design reviews, and construction observation and administration dutiesParticipate in business development activities related to aviation fueling and other aviation-centric pursuitsPerform quality control and quality assurance roles as a fuels subject matter expertPerform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reportsReview construction submittals, requests for information, and shop drawings related to aviation fuels construction projectsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringStrong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skillsRegistered Professional EngineerAirfield fuels instrumentation and controls expertiseComputer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE) knowledgeUnited States CitizenshipIdeally, you’ll also haveA passion for aviationUnified Facility Criteria and Unified Facility Guide Specification experienceAirfield electrical experienceJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
