Large metal parts company is looking for a Controls Engineer for their facility in central Nebraska
Candidates must have Allen Bradley PLC programming experience

Description ~
To support, improve, develop, research and test electrical components, equipment, and systems on the plant floor in order to meet production needs.
Essential Duties ~
• Provide daily support to plant operations supporting Corporate and plant specification goals.
• Plan and implement all PLC controls related activities.
• Supports implementation and installation of new and rebuilt equipment.
• Continuous improvement of equipment and processes towards improving reliability and technology.
Qualifications ~
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent training required.
• Technical certification with PLC or CNC Controls preferred
• Experience with LabView is a plus
• 3 + years of work experience in Controls Engineering with plant floor experience.
• Allen Bradley PLC, Controls Logix, Servo Controllers, HMI products and software
• Working knowledge of NEC and ANSI codes
• CAD software
• Knowledge of traceability & data tracking
• Ability to make changes to electrical prints as needed
• Working knowledge of Basic, C and Visual Basic programming
