Required Experience

1. Developing and implementing test plans, procedures and scripts.
2. Installing, testing and modifying software patches.
3. Building and integrating a system and a total end-to-end test infrastructure, from source to destination, using resources contained in a single lab or shared among multiple labs to include assembling hardware, loading required software, and creating test strings.
4. Executing tests, analyzing and interpreting the results, to identify inconsistencies and system defaults.
5. Identifying, analyzing and reporting faults/bugs found using appropriate fault identification, isolation and management tools.
6. Ensuring that the results of V&V processes are documented, reviewed, and corrective action is taken where appropriate.
7. Bachelors degree in Engineering or Related technical field.
8. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux Operating Environment and Networking.
9. Knowledge of shell scripting.

The Integration and Test Team is responsible for verification and validation (V&V) of products across AAC LLC Domains. The Integration and Test Engineer I position will provide test and integration engineering support on complex, multi-platform systems across multiple projects. The tasking associated with this position may require greater involvement in either system testing or system integration.

System Testing will range from developing and implementing test plans and scripts; installing, operating, and troubleshooting test tools and software; and validating that system operation meets specified requirements. System Integration may involve loading hardware into racks, installing software and applications, building the system to drawing package specifications, repairing and running cables, and verifying system dataflow.

Candidate should have the ability to work independently under supervision of others; work will be in small groups; complete assigned tasks on time and meet technical requirements; and communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required.

Additional Responsibilities include:

1. Installing and testing systems or component parts from production assets staged at customer sites. Duties would include installing hardware, loading required software, and verifying proper installation and system data flow.
2. Participating in requirements reviews ensuring that they are unambiguous, complete, correct and consistent.
3. Interface with Software, Hardware and Logistics development teams to clarify issues and resolve any conflicts in system definition, design, development, integration, testing and production.
4. Regular reporting of progress and status.

While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
