Job Summary
As the System Director Network Engineering at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for managing solutions specific to areas of responsibility including full life cycle management, from strategic planning, deployment, and maintenance of the launch of solutions and platforms. You will identify opportunities to reduce manual efforts, contribute to growth, promote patient and user experience, and create innovative solutions with operations, fostering strong working relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to align technology solutions with the goals of the system.
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Drives end-to-end activities for the assigned solutions portfolio and develops high-performance teams.
- Provides direction for solution implementation including planning, technical setup, building, testing, training, deployment, optimizing, and support.
- Establishes relationships with domain leaders to understand strategic business needs and user requirements.
- Leads or participates in governance committees to collaborate with key stakeholders about priority and workload.
- Develops strong partnerships with other leaders to identify synergies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborates with vendors to ensure systems and solutions meet the needs of Endeavor Health.
- Mentors direct reports through oversight of activities such as capital and operating budgets, policy and procedure development, talent management, and governance activities.
- Remains updated on the latest technologies and promotes their implementation.
- Collaborates across functional components led by other leaders to ensure seamless, effective, and efficient outcomes.
- Establishes vision and roadmaps for the enterprise, including Routing, Switching, WIFI, and Firewalls.
- Ensures stability, reliability, integration, and capacity planning for enterprise network services.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field OR equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education Level
- Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
Minimum Licensure Requirements
- No specific licenses required.
Minimum Certification Requirements
- Network certifications preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum Work Experience
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in managing processes, applications, or systems in a healthcare setting or related industries.
- Three (3) or more years of leadership experience.
Preferred Work Experience
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system.
- Five (5) or more years of leadership experience.
- Experience with the portfolio of responsibility.
