- Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems under instruction from the Project Engineer
- Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the owner
- Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs
- Perform other duties as needed
- Basic knowledge of CAD, Civil 3D, Revit
- Master's degree in related engineering discipline
- Interest in learning water treatment, watermain designer, pipeline condition assessment
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be titled "Water/Wastewater Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Local candidates preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
- AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
