Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Test Technician in Lisle, Illinois.
In this role, you will be responsible for reading test plans to evaluate performance and reliability of terminals, connectors, and module level products/solutions under exposure to mechanical conditions.
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience operating automated mechanical force test equipment and building mechanical fixturing
• Experience setting up and performing various mechanical tests including, but not limited to:
• Connector Mate/Unmate Force Test
• Terminal Insertion/Extraction Force Test
• Contact Beam Normal Force Test
• Automated and Manual Durability Cycling
• Cable Pull Force Test
• Automated Cable Flex Test
• Drop Test

• Experience completing product evaluation and performance analysis using test results and statistical analysis
• Troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis

This is a full-time onsite, long term, contingent role in Lisle, Illinois.
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $36.65 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
