Job Title: Labeling Engineer

Location: Lafayette, CO

Pay: $40-50/hour DOE

Contract with possibility for extension or conversion


Job Description:

Brooksource is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Labeling Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. As a Labeling Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of packaging and labeling for medical device products. This position requires a blend of graphic design, technical writing, and engineering skills to ensure that all labeling meets regulatory requirements and enhances product usability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, regulatory, and marketing, to develop and implement labeling for medical devices.
  • Design and create packaging and labeling materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company guidelines.
  • Review and update existing labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand product specifications and translate them into clear, concise, and compliant labeling.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct quality checks and validation of labeling materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to medical device labeling.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, technical writing, or engineering, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to understand and interpret engineering specifications.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical device labeling is a plus.
