Job Title: Civil Design EngineerJob DescriptionThe Civil Design Engineer will specialize in a variety of land development projects, involving site planning, stormwater management design, utility design, and site development. They will be involved in the design and permitting for development projects around West Michigan. Projects include commercial buildings, private roads, retail, and institutional.Key Responsibilities:Planning and site plan development including grading, drainage, zoning, and utilitiesPrepare project drawings, calculations, and specificationsPrepare schematic design and drawings, layouts, drafting, and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3DEvaluate land use and zoning requirements - zoning ordinances and site plan approvalPrepare permit applications, agency review, and approvalsSite visits during the construction phase of the projectsMust Have Qualifications3+ years of experience in civil design for development projectsExperience with Civil 3DNice to have experience:-PE License or EIT-Experience with civil engineering project management-Experience with proposals, RFIs, or project planningJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Muskegon, Michigan.Work EnvironmentOffice located in Muskegon, MI.
