What You'll Be Doing:

As an Engineering Manager at LINQ, you will work as a member of a cross-functional team delivering business critical applications of high function and technical quality. You will be responsible for working closely with the product managers and quality assurance team to create software that fulfills business needs. You are capable of quickly learning new business domains as well as working in a team environment. You are passionate about delivering high quality, maintainable software to the business.

This role is specifically looking for a more hands-on Engineering Manager that can help triage, troubleshoot, support, and guide the team in technical projects, escalations, and architectural decisions. The director overseeing this role is looking for a strong partner to work with architecture to define and set the standard for the teams and products to build towards a stronger enterprise-level solution.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• At least 8+ years of experience in Software Application Development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience.

• Strong understanding of relational database systems.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.

• 5+ years designing and implementing products using SaaS, IaC event driven, and/or micro-services.

• Experience with the following technologies: Java, Angular, AWS, NoSQL (DynamoDB preferred).

• Experience leading or managing a team of empowered engineers.

• Strong belief in and use of best practices.

The Tech:

Some experience in the following technologies is nice to have but not required:

• Spring Boot

• TypeScript

• ElasticSearch/OpenSearch

• Docker

• Upgrading AngularJS to Angular

• Practicing DevOps and CI/CD

• .Net Core

• AWS Lambda
