You will be responsible for delivering analytic insights to inform decisions to grow our value-based care business, empower high quality care delivery, and improve healthcare outcomes for senior members. You will work closely with your Central Analytics teammates to support value-based care product initiatives that will include cross-functional work across technology, marketing, operations, enterprise, finance and clinical teams. This role will report to the Analytics Manager for Clinical Operations. You are someone that enjoys exploring data to identify large areas of opportunity to drive business impact and are able to ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations and can acquire data from multiple and varied sources when solving problems. Not only that, you are also able to make sense of complex, high-quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to solve these problems through structured thinking and have shown the ability to drive results in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. Key job responsibilities:

  • Support the value-based care business with claims centered analytics concerning utilization, network performance, cost and quality drivers, and program evaluation.
  • Use diverse clinical, claims and financial data sets to assess the opportunity size of initiatives, identify key metrics and communicate insights through presentations and dashboards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the company to identify new opportunities to deliver high-quality healthcare to patients, increase operational efficiency, and drive growth.
  • Play integral role in the creation and evolution of real-time risk adjustment factor prediction models in coordination with data engineering.
  • Evaluate risk score changes and their potential business impact.
  • Develop metrics for operational and claims completeness processes impacting Medicare risk.
  • Work with Senior Health clinical leadership to conduct exploratory analyses to inform the design of EMR tools to support accurate documentation and coordinated care for our senior members.
  • Champion the practice of making data-informed decisions by performing strategic investigatory analyses to inform how we prioritize the value-based care product roadmap.
  • Create reports and dashboards to democratize access to data, such that non-technical audiences can easily leverage it.
  • Work closely with data engineers to define data processing needed for claims and EMR data.
  • Partner with product managers, data engineers, and other data teams to manage downstream impact of underlying data changes.
  • Support data platform migration efforts by assisting in the transition of existing data structures and dashboards from legacy systems to new systems.
  • Provide user support for business intelligence tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience in analytics in healthcare.
- Experience with diverse datasets, including claims, payor, and medications datasets.
