Role
As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database applications using Oracle PL/SQL. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code for complex business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, etc.) to support application functionality.
- Perform data modeling and database design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to PL/SQL code.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Informatica (desirable but not required).
- Proficiency in Tableau report writing.
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts.
- Version control experience using GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
