Group/Division
With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products. The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) provides market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for leading-edge IC manufacturing.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for a self-motivated, creative, and results-oriented candidate to work on a next-generation optical defect inspection technology for patterned semiconductor wafers. The work specifically includes:
- Designing and implementing HW/SW features to improve the functionality of test benches, specifically mechanical design projects and the development of software for data acquisition and instrument automation.
- Troubleshooting hardware systems and collaborating with team members to solve technical problems.
- Contributing to system architecture decisions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with software for mechanical design (e.g., CAD).
- Experience with optical and/or vacuum systems design, optomechanical solutions, actuated optics manipulation, and stages.
- Experience with developing software control of hardware using LabVIEW, Python, C++.
- Ability to work with and support a diverse team of scientists and engineers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience.
