Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their innovative biotechnology research team in Boston. They're specializing in providing tools and technologies to improve pre-analytical sample preparation, enable novel drug formulations, and manage compounds in the drug discovery process.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems for cutting-edge biotech applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects aimed at advancing healthcare and life sciences.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in a biotechnology, medical device, or related industry.
3. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
4. Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
5. Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) for mechanical testing and optimization.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO, FDA) is a plus.
