Summary

We seek a Controls Lead Technician/Programmer in Manassas, VA, with a local and stable work history and at least three years of experience building automation controls for HVAC systems in commercial buildings. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of HVAC systems utilizing advanced building automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, service, and troubleshoot building automation controls for HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
• Work with BACnet and DDC systems to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Perform installations, diagnostics, and repairs on ALC, Alerton, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of building automation projects.
• Provide expert support and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Local candidate with a stable work history in the commercial mechanical construction industry.
• Minimum of three years of experience in building automation controls service, focusing on HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
• Proficiency in BACnet, DDC controls, ALC, Alerton, Tridium Niagara, and Distech.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair control systems efficiently.
• Familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit for project planning and system design.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with advanced building automation systems in large-scale commercial settings.
• Expertise in control integration, programming, and system optimization.
