essential functions
  • Supervision of Maintenance Staff
  • Directs employees and/or completes required scheduled, unscheduled (emergency) PM’s and repairs of equipment and facility including but not limited to electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and tools.
  • Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers and staff to ensure conformance and/or compliance to established specifications.
  • Diagnosis (Problem solve) and/or assist technicians in diagnosing malfunctions in systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Ability to complete or direct workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
  • Capable of performing all activities of workers supervised if necessary.
  • Conduct and document regular facility inspections
  • Maintain maintenance logs and reports / develop were required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
  • Implement best practice processes for increased efficiency.
  • Responds to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
  • Participates in plan development regarding budgets and schedules for facility modifications including obtaining cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
  • Requisitions and keeps supply of spare componentry and essential supplies.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
  • Analyzes and resolves work related problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
  • Key member and participant of the Safety Committee
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as required and assigned by the President or his representative.

education / experience requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance in manufacturing
  • Technical school or equivalent experience; and five or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
