About the Role:

ZT Systems is seeking a talented Web Developer to join our team, helping to develop and implement advanced backend and frontend applications for our automated manufacturing processes. As a member of our growing team, you will work at the forefront of AI cloud computing and hyperscale technology, building innovative solutions to support the observability and control of our manufacturing processes. As an experienced Software Developer, you will collaborate with internal customers across the company to design and implement software that puts the control of entire factory processes in the palm of someone's hand. You will integrate with third-party services, develop novel in-house solutions, and continuously identify opportunities to improve software and the development process. You will stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends and ensure code quality, performance, and software maintainability.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend software solutions that control the manufacturing process and surface key KPIs to empower business decisions.
- You will ensure that your software succeeds at scale, and meets security and SLA requirements.
- Create beautiful UI's that deliver a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, design, and implement solutions.
- Identify and mitigate UX pain-points, reducing the barrier to entry for users of your software.
- Build software that integrates with third-party services and systems to automate manufacturing processes.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability of software.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve software and the development process itself.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and trends.
- Have the opportunity to get hands-on with cutting-edge AI and high-performance computing hardware
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in software development (alternatively an MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years of experience)
- You’ve written production-grade web applications using Node.JS and TypeScript, and React or NextJS
- You have some experience writing scripts and small applications using Python 3
- You know how to write a CRUD API, using various SQL and NoSQL solutions like MS SQL and MongoDB
- Knowledge of the complete SDLC in an Agile development environment, using tools like Jira and Gitlab or Github to manage your workload
- Basic knowledge of computer architecture, networks, storage, etc.
- Development and debugging experience in both Linux and Windows
- Ability to multi-task and exercise judgment in setting priorities
- Must be a self-motivated faster learner and able to work independently
- Self-driven, good team player
