Job Description:
- The ideal candidate will perform various product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced parts/products.
- Duties will include setting up and operating testing equipment, troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physically moving materials on and off testing platforms.
- The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative, and strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams.
- Inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating avionics equipment, SE, and aircraft components.
- Repairing EW systems, sensor systems and components, wiring harnesses and interconnecting cables.
- Repairing amplifier and logic circuits; microwave equipment; servomechanisms; radio frequency circuits; video displays; and power supply circuits.
- Experience working with rectifiers and controller circuitry.
- Troubleshot power supply modules and I/O modules to component level by replacing various chips and components that have high fault rate
- Experience with using schematics and drawing to troubleshoot electronic circuits
- Looked BOM's to identify failed components, ordered parts and maintained stock
- Understanding and be able to perform ERP systems (SAP/ETS/Microsoft Access)
- Ability to work long periods while standing, bending, and walking.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-tasks, set priorities, and adapt to change.
- Flexible and motivated, able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret test data.
- Strong safety focus.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, aggressive, self-starter with strong people skills.
- Ability to work across multiple shifts / weekend work.
- HS Diploma or an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 4 years of relevant experience in Electronics, Military training in electronic testing/troubleshooting, or equivalent experience/education in testing processes.
