Job Title: Electronics Test TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Technician. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and understand schematics for electronic circuits related to printed circuit board assemblies. Additionally, they should be able to apply their training to calculate the parametric values that a circuit should be producing, in order to debug and diagnose defects causing circuit performance failures.Ability to use hand tools and general test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.) if working with electronic componentsDemonstrate basic knowledge operating DMMs to verify possible opens, shorts, resistance and diode check in working with electronic componentsAbility to read and understand schematics, drawings, assembly prints, procedures, specifications, and other documentation describing electronic assemblies if working with components.Comply with BEI quality assurance policies and methodologies; understand and use IPC quality and workmanship standards; develop a strong quality orientation.Accepting of opportunities to train on new equipment and to cross-train into other site operations, as needed.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective interpersonal skillsEffective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as requiredEffective organization and prioritization skillsDemonstrate high attention to detailHard Skills· Associates of electrical or engineering discipline is a plus, but not a must- or Military test technician experience with training.· Knowledge of tools and hands on experience.· PCB- debugging down to the component.· Testing Circuit boards· Electronics experience· Functional Testing· Multiplexors· Buffers· Failure analysis· Voltage monitor· Debugging and isolating issue to the IC levelSoft SkillsProblem-solving skillsAttention to detailAnalytical skillsWork SiteThis is a fully on-site position in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama.Work EnvironmentThe position will be in support of several manufacturing lines.
