Role: Backend Software Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid role - In-office presence required)

- Seeking a Senior Software Engineer who has a strong technical foundation with the ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspires fellow engineers to become better at their craft and gives practical advice on writing cleaner code and effective tests.
- Actively identifies and reduces complexity in software artifacts and motivates team members to do the same.
- Helps other team members to come up with simpler, more robust, and more efficient designs.
- Inspires confidence in less experienced team members to grow by tackling hard problems.
- Stimulates associates to look beyond the surface and fix root causes rather than symptoms.
- Evolves the hiring culture in the team, identifies skill gaps, and shapes job openings to meet future requirements.
- Propagates a multi-layered approach to information security and brings potential attack vectors to the team's awareness.
- Continuously extends their knowledge outside their domain of expertise.
Our current technical environment:
Software/Tools: Java, Python, Groovy, GitHub, Node.js, React.js, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Codacy, Checkmarx, GitHub Advance Security, Black Duck Hub, BlazeMeter, Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, etc.
Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture.
Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, Virtual Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD).
Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Spring Boot, Snowflake.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) in Computers, Engineering, or related field is REQUIRED.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Software development using Java REQUIRED.
- Strong programming skills and background in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Bash.
- Spring Webflux framework experience is a plus.
- Ability to debug and diagnose issues in complex enterprise applications.
- Hands-On experience and Proficiency in:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Microservices
- Cloud (preferably AZURE, AWS, Kubernetes)
- GitHub, GitHub Actions, DevOps domain knowledge
- Front-end Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON)
- Object Oriented Design (OOD)
- Linux/Unix & Windows Platform
- Excellent team player with a go-get attitude
- Experienced Agilist
- Good communication skills and ability to effectively work with stakeholders and team.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $76,119.00 - $163,976.90
The salary range reflects the anticipated base salary based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location, skills, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors. This role will be eligible for either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
