AI Frontend Engineer, Replit, Inc., San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining user interfaces that integrate AI capabilities seamlessly.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable code.
- Implementing AI-driven features based on Large Language Models, Recommender Systems, etc.
- Optimizing application performance and responsiveness to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in AI and front-end development.
- Troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues, ensuring a high level of quality and user satisfaction.
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering and 3 years of experience as a Frontend focused engineer.
- 3 years of experience with strong proficiency in Javascript / Typescript / React / HTML / CSS.
- 1 year of experience with familiarity with AI concepts and technologies, including Large Language Models, Recommender Systems, and predictive analytics.
- 1 year of experience integrating AI capabilities into user interfaces.
- 1 year of experience working on DevTools.
Must successfully complete competency-based interview. Telecommuting permitted. Must report to HQ 3x per week. Only incidental domestic travel is required for this position. Expected salary range is $180,000-$215,000/year.
