Job Title: Specialist - Data Engineering
Work Location- Tampa FL
Job Description:
Write code for storing accessing and using data in applications
Build responsive applications by storing frequently accessed data in Redis/Cassandra / Memcache
Be responsible for ingesting processing and analyzing data while building realtime analytics systems
Collaborate with Infra teams during Redis updates patches and version upgrades deployment
Assess and recommend hardware and software environment to ensure scalability and reliability
Find and fix issues to improve system performance
Skills
Total experience of 6 years on Data Engineering role with minimum 3 years of working on Redis/ Cassandra / Memcache and Starburst / Presto
Experience working on realtime data analytics systems and technologies
Experience working with streaming solutions such as Kafka
Expertise in caching session storage service decoupling ingesting and data indexing using Redis/ Cassandra / Memcache
Proficiency in development scripting using Python Java Javascript etc
Familiarity with Infra as a Service Cloud SaaS Linux environments
