1st Shift - CNC Machinist

We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists with G code programming experience. The primary function of this role is to set up and run jobs including 5 axis. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, program and run CNC Machines, including verticals, shuttles, bars and 5 axis.
• Understand and select correct tooling
• Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications
• Ensure the CNC machines are operating at the highest level of productivity appropriate to the assigned project
• Review set up sheets and specifications to determine set up procedure, machining sequence and dimensions
• Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools
• Measure work piece for conformance to specification using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator and gages
• Adjust machine speeds and feeds; change cutters to machine parts according to specifications
• Keep work area organized and clean

Qualifications / Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong math skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• 2+ years experience in CNC Programming
• Attention detail
• Ability troubleshoot and problem solve

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb, crawl and maneuver in cramped areas
• Extensive walking is required
• Ability to comfortably work from heights on ladders and aerial boom lifts
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50+ pounds
