Web Application Migration Opportunity – 100% Remote, 3-Month Contract

Join an exciting 3-month application migration project. If you're skilled in managing IIS on Windows Server, love troubleshooting, and can keep a web environment running smoothly, we want you on this 100% remote gig. You'll be handling everything from configuring servers to securing web traffic, with plenty of opportunities to showcase your automation chops using PowerShell. Work standard business hours from the comfort of home, while playing a critical role in ensuring a seamless migration.

Duties:

  • Take part in enterprise web application migration
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot web applications on IIS web servers
  • Set up Azure DevOps pipelines for deploying web apps to IIS servers
  • Use IaC to manage IIS settings and configurations
  • Integrate Azure with monitoring tools to track IIS performance and set up alerts
  • Deploy websites & manage SSL certificates
  • Automate tasks with PowerShell
  • Monitor performance & tune servers

Experience:

  • IIS experience on Windows Server (working with application pools)
  • Manage IIS server security and access within Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, & firewalls

Any certs a Plus: Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Server+, or similar.
